Refund Policy

Passcovery Co. Ltd. (hereinafter – the Company)
Applicable to purchases made on passcovery.com, passcovery.ru, and passwordrecoverytools.com

1. Definitions

The following terms are used in this Policy:

  • Company – Passcovery Co. Ltd., the holder of an exclusive license to the Software with the right to sublicense
  • Website – the websites passcovery.com, passcovery.ru, and passwordrecoverytools.com, owned and operated by the Company
  • User – a natural person or legal entity using the Software under the terms of the EULA
  • Software – the software distributed by the Company through the Website
  • Trial Version – a trial version of the Software providing access to its features in a demonstration mode sufficient for evaluating the Software's operability and suitability for the User's purposes
  • EULA – the End-User License Agreement published on the Website and included with the Software distribution package

2. Distribution Model

The Software is distributed on a try-before-you-buy basis: the Trial Version allows the User to evaluate the operability and suitability of the Software prior to making a payment.

By purchasing a license, the User confirms having reviewed the functionality of the Software through the Trial Version and accepts the terms of the EULA.

3. Guaranteed Refund

The Company guarantees a full refund of the amount paid in the event of a confirmed technical defect in the Software attributable to the Company, subject to the following procedure:

  1. The User submits a bug report to hdesk@passcovery.com
  2. The Company reviews the report within 7 (seven) calendar days and notifies the User of the results
  3. If the defect is confirmed as attributable to the Company, it shall be resolved within 30 (thirty) calendar days
  4. If resolution is not possible within the specified period, a full refund of the amount paid shall be issued

4. Grounds for Refund Denial

Refunds shall not be issued in the following cases:

  • The Software does not meet the User's subjective expectations, provided that the Software functions in accordance with the description on the Website and the documentation (User Guide)
  • Inability to recover a specific password – the outcome depends on the complexity, length, and character set of the password, as well as the computational capacity of the User's hardware; these factors are beyond the Company's control and are disclosed in the product description
  • User errors during installation, activation, or operation of the Software that are unrelated to a defect in the Software
  • Violation of the EULA by the User resulting in license revocation
  • Requests submitted more than 30 (thirty) calendar days after the date of purchase

5. Individual Review

Requests that do not fall under Section 3 or Section 4 of this Policy may be reviewed by the Company on a case-by-case basis.

To submit such a request, the User shall send an email to hdesk@passcovery.com with the following information:

  • subject line: "Refund Request"
  • the email address used at the time of purchase
  • the date of the transaction
  • the reason for the request

Review period: 10 (ten) business days from the date of receipt. The Company's decision on individual requests is final.

6. Refund Procedure

Upon approval of a refund:

  • the refund shall be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction
  • the processing time is determined by the payment processor and typically ranges from 5 to 10 business days
  • the activation key shall be revoked upon confirmation of the refund

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is incorporated. Any disputes not resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be submitted to the competent courts at the Company's place of incorporation.

Users who are consumers residing in the European Union may be entitled to additional rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence, to the extent such laws cannot be excluded by agreement. This Policy has been developed in consideration of EU Directive 2019/770 on digital content.
